"As impressed as I was (and I was) with Sony's SXRD-based, 1080p digital projector, I would still vote for Sony's G90 CRT projector as the best picture at CEDIA. To my tired old eyes, these technological dinosaurs still produce the best picture money can buy. No pixelization, no rainbows, no screendoors, no searing whites, no "gray" or crushed blacks. Just infinite dynamic range, beautiful colors, pure blacks, textured whites a less analytical, more film-like presentation." - Jon Valin, AVguide Monthly

All our HTPCs come with quiet fans and various case options that cater to your personal home theater decor.

A typical Computer has become common in today’s world. You can compare graphics cards, CPU's, motherboards and find the better/faster/cheaper, but the fundamental goal remains the same-building in the best performance you can afford. Why do you need this performance if you are just going to check your email? Computers have lost their edge with innovation and there seems to be a gap between the computer and your Audio Visual systems. Why is there a gap between your TV and your computer when media now is all digital from CD to DVD to MP3? Just what is a HDPC? A HTPC stands for Home Theater Personal Computer. It can have multiple goals and multiple functions. Here's what a good home theater PC can do:

    • Be a repository for your CD and DVD collection

    • Act as a digital scalar and de-interlacing platform for DVD playback great for high end home theater.

    • Create a TIVO or Replay-TV type of unit that allows for time-shifted viewing of your favorite TV shows

    • Be an HDTV tuner, including time-shifting HDTV viewing.

    • Be interfaced with your Home Network as well as the Internet

    • Have Email, Messaging, Game Capabilities and presentation (IE. PowerPoint).
